Eastern Express Hockey Club Conditioning Camp & Tryout Schedule

The Eastern Express U15 Major Hockey Club is pleased to announce that registration for Conditioning Camp and Phase 1 of the 2023/24 Training Camp is now open. These ice times are available to all 2009 and 2010 players who reside in the Pownal and Kings County minor hockey zones.
 
Conditioning Camp and Tryouts (Phase 1) information is provided below. Register players for the conditioning camp and/or tryouts by emailing easternexpresshockey@gmail.com. Please provide the following information:

• Name of player
• Date of birth
• Last year’s team
• Position

 
Players can pay in-person, cash only upon arrival for the 1^st ice times. Please note that it is a separate payment for each of the Conditioning Camp and Tryouts. No player shall be permitted on the ice until payment is made in full.
 
CONDITIONING CAMP
Dates: September 2 – 4
Location: Pownal Sports Centre
Cost: $60.00
Description: Players will be placed into 2 groups with each player receiving 3 ice times. There is no off-ice training component to the Conditioning Camp. Players will be provided an opportunity to work through a variety of hockey skills and get some valuable ice time prior to tryouts.
 
TRYOUTS - PHASE 1
Dates: September 7 - 17
Location: Pownal Sports Centre 
Cost: $100.00
Description: Phase 1 will include practices, scrimmages and off-ice fitness. Players will be placed into 2 groups with each player receiving 3 ice times. Players are expected to participate in both on and off-ice sessions. Upon completion of the 3 ice times, a round of selections shall be made. These players will move on to Phase 2 of the tryouts. Information pertaining to Phase 2 and subsequent phases shall be provided at a later date.
 
Training Camp is broken into 3 Phases with specific timelines outlined by the PEI U15 AAA Hockey League. The Camp concludes with the league Jamboree on September 23^rd - 24th. Official team rosters will be submitted to the league at the conclusion of the tournament.
